PT100 equation

    Hello all,

    There is one Equation for PT 100 for negative temperature:
    Rt = R0(1+aT+bT²+cT³(T-100))

    R0=100 ohms
    Rt is resistance of PT100
    a=0.003069
    b=0.000000587
    c=4.27x10^-12
    T temperature

    so form this eq what will be the equation for T?
    means T=?

    I got the equation thank you soo much.
    But ther is one doubt... which root should I take for futher calculations?as there are 4 values of T

    I suggest you put the equation into a spreadsheet and graph the equation to see what it looks like.
