So I know this is a very common topic and a lot of tutorials are posted online, however I ran into a problem that I can't find any info how to solve. I am not very experienced in electronics. pretty basic knowledge.
I have a PSU by HP D11-3001A
The power supply supervisor is WT7525-140. So I desoldered Ground leg, then voltage input leg for 3, 5 and 12 volts.

The 5 V rail works fine, but every time I try to use 12 v rail the PSU shuts down and I need to restart it.

Anyone have suggestions on what I should do to fix this issue?

well, I wish I knew about this before I cut off all of the connectors lol
