Pspice model for NiCd battery

    Hi...to everybody,

    Is OrCAD Pspice model available for Rechargeable Battery NiCd(Nickel cadmium) for simulation???

    pls help....

    You would need to look for such information on the battery manufacturer's website.

    This simulation module is not available in the battery website.

    Is equivalent ckt available???

    What parameter are you trying to simulate? Usually a voltage source in series with a resistor handles most situations.

    If you go to the LTSpice Yahoo user group there are some models of batteries -- might be NIMH though.

    Energizer doesn't make Ni-cad batteries anymore. They are less toxic Ni-MH now.
    Made in Japan.

    Do you know which battery Sudharshan needs a sim for?
