I am working on to calculate the distance between RF Tx and Rx. As far as I understood there are methods like

2. First we synchronise the Tx and Rx with the help of PLL and once the Clock are synchronised then we can measure distance.
I am very new to topic but wants to do this as soon as possible so any help will be appreciated. Or is there any other method as well. If anyone have experience in RF then please do contact me via mail.
