    Hi guys

I recently got a STK500 starter kit from Atmel, and my laptop don't have a rs232 port, and most of the usb to rs232 convertor cable doesn't support win7.

but I have a third party usb programmer, I was wondering if I can program a chip on my stk500 with my third party programmer connect to SPAOG01/02/03.

    thanks

note: when program with stk500 through rs232 port, ISP6PIN is connected to SPAOG01/02/03

I had no problems with an AVRISP MKII programmer and using the 6 pin isp connector of the STK500 for the very same reason.
