Problems with the Voltage-controlled switch SW model in SPICE 3

Hi,

I'm getting an error message while running a circuit file containing the following two lines:

S1 out 10 in 0 SWIT
.MODEL SWIT SW(RON=10 ROFF=1MEG Vt=-1.75 Vh=-0.35)

The error message reads: "Device type Switch not available in this binary"

I thought the SPICE 3 version comes with the Voltage-controlled switch model-infact the user-manual mentions this model as well-so the error seems wierd to me....

Do I need to do manually add the library models while installing the sofware initially? And is there any way that I can add these models (or the library files containing these models) now into the binary somehow? Can somebody please help me out with this?
