I wrote a program on my ti-83 plus and Decimal point are not coming out right.
prompt V, K
((V)^2/k)->X
Disp "OMHS"
Disp X
1/(2π(60*X))->S
Disp " uf is" ,S



The reactance is right aka ohms, but after that it comes out a decimal point off. Also this formula doesn't work with kvars only vars, which I manually change to vars with kvar/1000.

I just finished register.

 

You can multiply S*10 or S*.1 to move the decimal point forward or backward prior to the print command.
