So in came a PS3 after running around I think...!
I have to find out more. Cause I can see that the board has been tried to repair, well not the board but the power supply.

May be they thought it was a supply problem but My measurements and diagnostics says its a Mother board problem.

So I had to dig deeper.

    Guess what I found....

A new component. And I thought it was a Semi'. :D

Get a real good magnifying glass on it. If that isn't creatures creating a new civilization, it's heat blisters.

By the way, what's a Proadlizer?
Is that like a Flux Capacitor?

    ;)

U know the cap broke to pieces. The PCB absorbs all the heat I give. I need more than 2 hands to do this. Hot gun plus soldering and still the solder solidifies in milli seconds.

I guess replacing them won't do any good. I have to buy new ones to solder.
