Hi

I am currently designing a project but unfortunatly I dont know an awful lot about power transistor circuits. Im using a MYDAQ to drive an analogue output of 10vdc but it dosnt have enough power to drive the blower Im using. Ive been researching power transistor circuits and there are so many different types I dont know what kind to use....Any help on this would be greatly appreciated?

Sorry, my daq is a small data acquisition device developed by national instruments to allow students develop small projects outside of college

Blowers don't, "output" volts and amps, they "output" air.
What volts and amps does the blower use?

 

You want to look at an emitter follower circuit such as this:



However, since the myDAQ max output is 10V you will need to add an amplifier stage to go beyond 12V.
