power tool circuit

    i have been trying to find a circuit that i can use when i turn on a power
    tool, my shop vac will kick on and off with the tool. i know there are some
    out there, however i have found none. does anyony here have a circuit
    or know where i can find one?

    Hello,

    The circuit you are looking for is called a "power slave".
    It is a circuit that looks if the "master" is switched on,
    if so the "slave" will also be turned on.

Recently saw a commercial unit with my delayed start/delayed stop...doubt that it was a coincidental independent creation. ;)

    I also designed in a knee switch and a remote start/stop pendent.
