Power output of those micro 30 rpm 6v gear motors on eBay

    If anyone has those little 30 rpm 6V gear motors, could they measure the voltage and short circuit current output at maybe 60 rpm?
    I'm making a mini crank flash light.

    I would say probably 2/3's their voltage rating at whatever amp rating they have would be a good estimate based on an even 30 RPM feedback.

    That will be a hard crank @ 100 : 1 reduction.
    tcmtech,, that is about what I measured with a driven step motor.

    Are you sure you can back drive it?
    If there is a worm gear anywhere in the reduction train you will not be able to move it from the output shaft side.
