Hi guys,

I am trying to control this linear actuator (http://www.soundsandvisions.nl/Webwinkel-Product-32099669/Jaeger-Superjack-actuator-18.html) via an arduino. The thing is I have only little knowledge of electronics/electronical circuits and I have no idea on how to start the motor. Can anyone tell me how to power this actuator? It says on the actuator that it needs 36V/DC but if I try a 30V 0.2A power source it does not do anything. I plugged our power source in in the first and second input (from left) of the screw terminal. (see photos below)

hi Tom,
Your photo does not show a wire link on terminals 3 and 4.??
You need the link as shown in the circuit diagram.

I don't think a 0.2 A power source is enough to power a motor of that size.
