Hello all, I am new to this forum and I hope I am writing on the right page for asking questions. It will take couple days until I get used to this forum.

I have a solenoid valve and I need to design a circuit where I will use a BJT as a switch to turn Solenoid Valve (SV) on/off. My problem is that I don't know the SV's resistance or power in order to calculate the current needed to turn the SV on. Any help or idea will be appreciated

Locate Part Number ,manufacturer Name etc from the Component Label , so that the characteristics can be identified

 

Where is this valve? Can't you measure its resistance?
