Hi All,


I have a star connected 3 phase supply,which i eventually converter to a single phase supply by the regular method.I intend to achieve equal currents in all the 3 phases and have successfully achieved it.Now i see that,only one of the 3 phases has a good power factor of above 95% and the rest 2 has 60 and 30% !!! I tried using capacitors so as to nullify the inductive effect,but all in vain.

How did you measure power factor? Can you describe your 'regular method'? What is the load?

Power Factor was measured using the power analyzer available in the market.

The Load is very simply a resistive load.
