    Can somebody please help me.
    I have 2 x 3.7v Li-ion cells.
They're hooked up in series to give me 7.4v.

In order to charge them, I need to charge them with a 5v supply(mini USB).
So I need to apply this 5v across each cell without disconnecting the series configuration.

    How do I configure this.
Is there a battery management IC to cater to this exact configuration?
Or is it as simple as connecting a couple of diodes or transistors?
My problem is that by connecting the 5v supply across both cells, the configuration then becomes a parallel circuit and alters the output voltage.
    But I need 7.4v.

    Please help me.

    Thank you.

Read your other thread and quit yelling HELP! If you don't like my answer then say so there. We don't need to help you either.

Just to let you know, imagine if everyone posted with a title "Please HELP" or "help me".

    Not very informative, is it?

Please use a subject title that better describes your post.
