If it is not homework, we can adapt the design and use a different uC.

 

Sorry, I was trying to get him to realize that he has to make an effort before anyone is likely to help. "Where do I begin" is pretty vague. Has he built the circuit?...Has he used PICs before?...What part does he need help with? ESL posters can sometimes be misleading.
