My class wil have a presentation discuss about the best software simulation. We discuss between two software those are ORCAD/PSPICE and MULTISIM. My group've chosen ORCAD/PSPICE software. So, Could you help me show some advantages and disadvantages of ORCAD/PSPICE and MULTISIM software. (Special advantages of ORCAD/PSPICE and disadvantages of MULTISIM).
    Thanks!

PSPICE is more commonly used, I think, and is more of an industry standard.

Multisim (Electronics Workbench) has a easier-to-use schematic to simulation interface I believe, but that's personal preference. Workbench has switches and pots that can be controlled from the keyboard while the simulation is running, which is useful, and I don't think PSPICE has that.

To compare them, list all the types of simulations each can do and see which seems more comprehensive, and how easy it is to perform mathematical calculations of the simulated waveforms. Also compare the number and type of part models each has in their library.
