Hello, I'm currently working on a project involing ladder logic, specifficaly in one part of the program I'm supposed to use any combination of 8 inputs and convert them in a 2 digit BCD code.
I've done some research, but I just can't get it right. Any help would be appreciated

 

How many bits does it take to represent 2 BCD digits. What is complicating your efforts?

 

Making that conversion using ladder logic.

 

What plc and software package are you using? Need to know what type of instruction set we are dealing with.

Also, you should have a look at the rockwell automation website. They have a good literature library with lots of good information.
