    Hi respected people,

    Can anyone help me on the plc ladder

    Ex.

    Seat 1
    S1 = Green Button (Yes)
    S2 = Red Button (No)
    S3 = White Button (Dont Care)

    Seat 2
    S1 = Green Button (Yes)
    S2 = Red Button (No)
    S3 = White Button (Dont Care)

    Seat 3
    S1 = Green Button (Yes)
    S2 = Red Button (No)
    S3 = White Button (Dont Care)

    Now the scenario

    Seat1 press Green Button
    Seat2 Press Red Button
    Seat3 press Green Button

    I will get the summation of

    Green = 2
    Red = 1
    White = 0

    Any idea how to make a ladder for this,

    thanks

    If you post what you have so far it might help, but at first look I would use a counter for each of the buttons, then add all the green together and similar adds with the rest. If the seats are not tied to lights you can use dummy coils to hold the output.

    TBay! Welcome back! how was your 2 year vacation?

    @J3PD, what flavor of PLC/software are you using?

    Hello to PLC professionals,

    I am looking for plc trainer kit (software/hardware) preferable for Allen-Bradley PLC.
    I am new in plc but I have experience in embedded real-time applications, programing microcontrollers and DSP and currently I am programming CNC machine with Siemens controller.
    I am ready to invest (reasonable price) to have good kit to be able to study and play at home with PLC.
    For example I saw on eBay “Allen Bradley PLC training Micrologix Trainer, Lessons” is it good kit?

    What will be your advise.

    Thank you in advance.

    Probably not, if you're expecting what I think you're expecting. That probably doesn't come with any actual Allen Bradley software (rslogix500/5000) or a plc or cables or anything. Just a collection of downloaded YouTube videos on CD.
