Is it possible to construct a low cost plasma writer for artwork? Maybe a small one which can be mounted on a cnc router?

Where can I find plans for that?

I don't think plasma is created so simple.

    What type of artwork?

I've never heard of it, but it does sound intriguing.

You need a gas to make the plasma. Read about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plasma_cutting

Before I spent even $12 for plans, I would learn a little more about the subject. There are lots of "cheap" plans available on ebay that are worthless to the buyer. Either they can never be used to make a working project or they are freely available elsewhere.

The 'gas' is usually compressed air... They had a complete build of a plasma cutter on Instuctables (let me find the link)... Weird, only comments...

Good thing I grabbed the PDF, videos and images while it was up.
