Yes I want to compare wet soil to dry soil.. I prefer the LED to be ON or blinking when the soil is dry, and OFF when it's wet... I prefer the circuit to be like that and without levels as yours. I'm asking if I could use the NAND gate a s a comparator, I'll use another gate of the IC for blinking, that's because the 74HC132 works at low voltage and the power will very low... If not possible, I'll build the circuit using any good comparator, that's not hard at all.
