Actually I don't understand why pi has an infinite number of decimal places. Is it because you cannot have a circle with its circumference being an even integer and its diameter being an even integer, simultaneously?

Like for example circumference = 10 and diameter = 5 The ratio would be 2. That is definetely not 3.1415......
So a circle with these criteria could not exist in nature?
