PID discretization using different methods

    I am using simpson's discretization to change the continuous PI to the discrete PI however it results in three poles and one of them is unstable. Did you have any issues when you were discretizing? Also did you use 3/8 rule, with that I have the controller when simplified as a third order controller. Is that correct?

    To be clear, since the OP didn't, this thread is referring to this other one, otherwise it's just a question to no one...

    One way to tell is to do an analysis on the system, determine its response.... that usually how a controller is verified:rolleyes:
