picaxe 08m2 circuit

    hi guys
    well started with controllers for the first time , seem to be having a issues with connection and receiving the following error..

    symbol LED = C.0 ' LED on output C.0 (pin 7)
    ^

    Error: Unknown symbol - C.0
    i am using a picaxe 08m2 and the following program
    ' =============== HelloWorld.bas ===============

    ' This program runs on a PICAXE-08M2.
    ' It blinks an LED to say "Hello World!

    symbol abit = 500 ' used to adjust blink rate
    symbol LED = C.0 ' LED on output C.0 (pin 7)

    #com95 ' specify serial port
    #picaxe 08M2 ' specify processor

    ' ============= Begin Main Program =============
    do
    high LED ' LED on
    pause abit ' slow it down
    low LED ' LED off
    pause abit ' slow it down
    loop

    Sorry I didn't see this earlier. Is everything going well?

    So, what did the problem turn out to be? Your code looks fine, except that com95.

    hi
    it turned out to be my software as the older version did not recognize the 08m2 as soon as i down loaded the recent version and fired it up , it worked !! it has the 08m2 listed in the older software that's why i did not realize , it caused me some pain really as i checked and double checked my circuit , board and wiring !!!! anyway happy days but thanks for the reply !!
