I am new to this area and I am very keen to learn more in embedded systems.
I am searching for a suitable PIC programmer to program 40 Pin PIC18F45J10 which is a 3.3V series so could anyone suggest a suitable PIC programmer for that with a low cost or can anyone give me an idea to implement a suitable programmer.

Have you look at PICkit2 or PICkit3 from Microchip? I'm using one and very happy with it. It is upgradeable to support new devices and solid programmers.

    Thanks
I just checked both and I feel PICkit2 is most suitable for my requirement.
