Hi Guys, Trying to identify and replace components in a beam break device - There is a 5mm emitter and phototransistor/diode mounted 140mm apart, when the beam is broken it interrupts the 4.5v at the transistor/diode - there is 1.1v at the emitter - can anybody suggest a suitable pair - I believe its filtered light so guessing IR.

I think even Radio Shack used to sell those as a pair.

Be nice to know the voltage and current the driver side is set up for but in general most any IR emitter & detector with the same or similar wavelength will probably work.
