Can you please have a look at Q3 part (ii) in the attached file.

When asked to draw a phase diagram, do i draw two seperate diagrams one relating Capacitor with V-I relation and the other with Inductor-VI relation?

Any help is appreciated.

 

You could draw all three phasors on the one diagram - the question does appear to ask for a single diagram showing the phase relationships.

 

So i guess only the voltage changes for the capacitor and inductor! Could you possibly explain why, and also why the curve for the current remains the same for the capacitor and inductor!
