PFC circuit

    this PFC circuit the , 400Vdc up to 8 Amp (3000 W), it works up to 500W and above this the MOSFET is blow up and every time it blows up , it has short between the gate and source, the switching frequency is 250Khz, how can I fix this problem and make it works up to 3Kw

    First thought - the large capacitor on the gate is slowing down the FET switching time, increasing power dissipation. Why is that cap there?

    during the test I did remove this cap , but the unit still blow up when i increase the power more than 500w

    What is the voltage rating of the power MOSFET, and the RMS current rating of the inductor?

    the voltage rating of power MOSFET is 1200 and for the inductor i am using air inductor (270UH) and is good more than for 10A
