I need an oscilloscope but they cost to much.
I have read that you can make one with a ADC.
I have a AD974ANZ and want to make it into a oscilloscope.

I need some help. is there a website or something that has done this before?

 

This would be a really good project; however, have you ever looked at PC scopes?

Pico Scope or Bit-Scope? I think Bit scope even has the schematic on their site.

You can always get the hardware to digitize an input. The hard part is writing the software to take that input and display it as if it were an oscilloscope.

 

There's free software to make a sound card oscope also search the site as there is another one I found that is cheap and better specs than most.

It looks pretty simple but it has D1-D8 and my ADC does not have that.
If the plug is serial why does it only have 24 pins? Well 25 is undefined so never mind.
