Is Paladin Tools still around? I know they got bought out by Greenlee but I could find their dies pretty much anywhere around Toronto nowadays nothing all the crimp tools they carry are the cheap knock off crap like Hanlong tools. I even remember Home Depot carrying the crimpers and the dies.

Greenlee has all but abandoned the Paladin name. If you're looking to buy a tool with a good range of available dies, Ideal is the only option.

I'm debating if I should look for the dies that I'm looking for online or start from scratch with a new tool. It's a hassle to find dies these days way too many options and crappy tools on the market

The Ideal dies look just like the old Paladin dies. Maybe they're compatible.

This is bordering on SPAM, but it is pretty much in direct response to the thread content -- albeit the thread died more than two and a half years ago!
