Packetisation Delay

Consider a VoIP conversation over a broadband ADSL connection.
i. What is the packetisation delay (time taken to accumulate samples) when each packet contains 50 samples?
ii. What is the serialisation delay (time taken to transmit the packet)?

I know that Each packet contains an RTP, UDP and IP header of total length 40 bytes. The codec uses G.729 encoding of 1000 one byte samples per second. The upstream IP bit rate is 500 kbps.

But packetisation delay !! I dont get it !!
