Hello, I own a fire truck and contract it out with the forest service. I had an idea last season and I wanted to see how feasible it is. So the truck has a normal car stereo, but it also has the radio (transceiver) with an output for an external speaker. My goal is to integrate them, so I can listen to music and when there's radio traffic, it will override the music until the radio traffic is done, and then music comes back on. Would this be reasonsbly easy?

That sounds like it will do exactly what I was thinking! I even tossed around the idea of putting speakers on the outside of the truck so we could hear the radio/listen to music when we're outside. Thanks!
