oscilloscope

    i just picked up an oscilloscope for a good deal but it doesnt come with a manual or test probes. is there anything i need to consider when buying leads and where can i get a manual for it? it is a Tenma 72 320.

    You want a 10:1 probe with a rated bandwidth greater than your 'scopes bandwidth. Some of them are switchable between 1:1 and 10:1 which is handy when you want more sensitivity for low frequency signals where you aren't worried about the extra loading of a 1:1 connection.

    Have you tried searching the internet for a manual?

    i did and i cant seem to find a manual for this model.

    is the 72 720 and 72 320 basically the same scope? thanks for the pdf.

    oops, I just noticed the different numbers.

    However, the front panel looks the same. I don't know what is the difference.
