    Hi there,

Need to built a low frequency cystal oscillator 100KHz. Must be very low part count.

    Any schematic anyone?
    Thank you.

Do you need the output signal to be a sinewave?

See: Fairchild CMOS Oscillarors, AN-118. A Schmitt trigger inverter, capacitor, and resistor (3 parts). Three sections from a 74C04 inverter (any CMOS inverter), two resistors, and capacitor give a very good RC oscillator (4 parts). The oscillator-out pin on a PIC chip is also a very low parts count.

How stable and accurate do you need it to be? John
