Orthogonal Projection: front, top and side views: How?

    Hi,
    I have a downloaded document which says that orthogonal projection can generate front top and side views of an object. I cant understand this thing. Some body plz guide me.
    The image file is attached.

    If you look at some of the Acad tutorials on Utube etc, they will explain it graphically,
    Usually you have a Isometric view that you project the pertinent points up to produce a separate view of all sides of the object, one reason is to display or obtain true dimensions.

    Thanks for your reply. I would try to look at autocad video but i dont have access to u-tube.
