An RCA connector is just that. What kind of signal is the connector going to carry?

The signal that will be carried is the same signal that comes from a TV.

The tv and the display are receivers, so the signals go to them.

The LCD display has pixels turned on and off by digital logic levels. A tv signal is analog in nature. See this as a very brief description of the composite tv signal - http://electronics.howstuffworks.com/tv9.htm.

You might want to look at Don Lancaster's TV Typewriter as one possible solution.

That LCD is an OEM module missing all the guts to drive it.
What you are talking about is biulding a monitor and you only have the screen.
It would take so much effort to design it would be silly to do it to make a single unit.
You're looking at a circuit with many ICs not just a pic.
