I am trying to make a circuit which I can use in my UPS project.

I need to get a sine wave form centered around +2.5 volt using an opto coupler. The AC is to be isolated by the opto and this 0 to 5 volts varying DC which will be a dc isolated replica of the Line voltage will be used for tracking mains.

I have tried a circuit in workbench and it is showing somewhat acceptable results.

    Is this idea workable?

    Thank you

You might wish to have a 60 Hz source that is not line dependent. A UPS is designed to supply power when the line power has shut down.
