Operation of induction heating system

    Hello,

    I am working on a project of induction heating system. I am attaching the circuit diagram of induction heating system provided by the professor. Can anybody help me in understanding the operation of the circuit?

    I like to know exactly the operation of BJT transistor in the circuit. Actually we can give directly pulse to MOSFET for switching purpose. what is the need of using BJT infront of MOSFET and giving the collector current to gate driver which drives the MOSFET.

    First of all, what the characteristics of the four sensors V 1 to V 4
    Do they respond to heat stress or light Or other fiscal aspect
    What is the size of the supply voltage and where it is connected
    I can make assumptions, but it is better to get the exact information
    To provide good professional answer

    V1 is 12v and v2 is 24v DC (given incorrectly as 12v in circuit diagram). v3 and v4 are pulse inputs of 5v as input to transistor
