Unfortunately the output is not 0v without pressure, it is about 1.7 measuring -ve out and +ve out however measuring from -ve supply(gnd) to +ve out it is ~6V, either way there is a +/- 7mv variance, it seemed easier to design the opamp using a single +ve output and ground rather than +/- outputs.
anyway I now have an output spread of about 70mV which is good enough for now, I'll look at redesigning the amplifier once everything else is done.
