opamp to increase signal from LONG cable

hey y'all.
good news, : improvement. I tied the drain and insulated ground together and added the TERMINATOR. Arnold did his job. Still slight fluctuation but its usable.

The noise was present in post 1. The buffer amp was added at post 7.

I am very happy to hear the noise was improved!!!

This was an exercise in shielding, grounding, why there are two grounded conductors, and lowering impedance to increase noise immunity.

The 324 op-amp has trouble getting down to .2 volts output and still having enough oomph to drive current through the terminator. A different op-amp would work better, but success is success. Yay, success!

If the low output voltage signals are in error because they do not go low enough to be accurate, you may return and ask which op-amp will be accurate at those voltages.
