    Design an op-am to implement the following equation:

    V(out) = 4(V1) + 4(V2) - 8(Va) - 6(Vb)




    In the book, they call it op amp summer design.

    Since this is homework, how about you taking a shot at what you think the circuit should look like and then post it here. That way we can help you work out the weaknesses in your understanding of what is involved in such a circuit.

    May I suggest you combine an adder and a subtractor? The multiplication is done by the gain.
