online scanners

The title of the thread, "online scanners" made sense to me, so I wasn't wary. I even thought you would consider that sheldons and I vouched for it. The link goes to a site that has radio scanner outputs available on the internet. It seems to be only police and fire frequencies, but there might be some other emergency channels in there, too. You can steer it to your preferred location and listen to the local public service people talking to each other.

Not my cup of tea.

With the dozens of cop shows on TV, you would think people would want to listen to the real thing, but the real thing probably isn't as exciting or entertaining.

Ha, it popped up as a Belingham scanner....from my Washington days I know well enough that this page is probably going to be pretty interesting. Not that I lived in a great area, but we pretty much new Belligingham had a lot more problems..
