Old books online

    Some of those old tube books are outstanding. The sad thing is that eventually tubes will be "out of print" just as these books are. It's almost tragic. A few years ago I did consulting work for a company that purchased a subdivision of Phillips that made one particular tube that is still being manufactured and sold. This tube is only now being surpassed by modern approaches, and the people that know how to make the tube are at retirement age. Soon, the only tubes will be unsold stock, and eventually these will be gone.
