Also, if I only change one of the addresses I lose the link so they are both getting changed but they don't work afterwards. ?????

 

Question: I'm using auto acknowledge, do I need to set the rx pipe 0 address on the tx?

 

The answer to above is yes. After a couple hours of messing around I finally got it by setting both the tx and rx address registers... on both the tx and rx. Not sure why that worked, but it did.
