how to filter out all the noise from FTNoise.wav with using MATLAB?
What is the settings needed in Digital Filter Design block?

FTNoise.wav can be downloaded from here:

    Hello,

I did have a look at the file and found the following info.
When you look at the last 5 seconds, you will see that all noise is above 8500 Hz.

When you look somewhere in the middle of the file the noise is also visible above this 8500 Hz.

You could try to make a filter that will remove the frequecnies above 8500 Hz.

I do not have any experience with matlab, so yopu will have to look into it yourself.

    Hello,

When you apply a lowpass filter the high pitch noise will be reduced.
See the spectrum for the effect.

PS all spectra are made with audacity an open source audio manipulating program
