Hi everyone!

I want to build a machine, but have SUPER limited knowledge on circuits and electronics.

First thing i need to do is to control Solenoid 1 for a certain amount of time (preferably .1 to say 5 sec max).

Once solenoid 1 has finished operation, i need a short delay, say 1 sec and then solenoid 2 should open for say 2 sec.

System runs on initial 220v input, and i would like internals to run on 12v. Solenoids are 12v.

There is a lot more to come, so if there is someone willing to share some knowledge, I would greatly appreciate it!

You need off course a transformer, a bridge diode and a capacitor for ripple voltage.
If you want a stable 12Vcc for the circuit, a 7812 would be the better option.

For delay timing control I think you can use a simple 555 timer acting as a delay circuit to switch the operation..

I don't understand exactly what you mean for "then solenoid 2 should open". Could you explain more about what you want to do, exactly?
Also, for 12V solenoid you mean one like this

or a relay?
Also, how much current will need your load?
