Hello, folks. My name is Matt. I just wanted to introduce myself - I am slowly developing an interest in amateur radio and would like to gain a much better understanding of all the technical details. I am an educated adult but don't have much of a science background, so I essentially find myself starting from scratch - with the most basic of basic principles.

Nonetheless, I have a strong desire to learn and my experience has been that when I am motivated to learn something, I can get the job done (passably :D ).

In any event, I look forward to asking questions.

    -Matt (Boston, MA)

    Welcome aboard KB1NAW,

I recommend that you include the material in the tutorial section of this website at www.allaboutcircuits.com in your reading up on the subject of electronics.. It is a work in progress but the basic electronics material is in fairly good shape.

Let us know if there is anything we can do to assist you in your exploration.
