    hello all:

thought i might take a bit an intro myself
51 years old, some background in electronics, am a mechanic by trade and also work on industrial control systems a bit, mostly the controlled components such as 3 phase motors and contractors, stuff like that.

am seriously into offgrid development, and have been researching all that offgrid entails for the last several years,, about 10 years heavily.

recently started the integration of micro controllers into the plc controller, sort of a blending of the technologies, in a master/slave control system.
to manage the differing elements that need controlled in my offgrid design plan.

so you see i don't fit with the plc guys at all, and the micro guys don't really understand what i want to do, and are puzzled as to why as the plc guys..

don't know if i will be able to bring alot to the table, but will try to ask reasonably well thought out and presented questions.
