With some help of some local child labor, I assembled all my new cabinets in my garage shop. I wanted this to be less like Frankenstein's dungeon so I can do some instructional videos here without scaring away the kiddies. I think this is now the only fully finished garage in north pole! I'm going to install one more base cabinet to the left of the existing ones....decided after the fact I need more horizonatal lab bench space. :) Stay tuned!

Why thank you, Sire. I figured I'd better take a picture or two, since we know they won't stay this neat for long. :)

There is something suspicious about a clean desk.o_O
I am having some difficulty imagining where you plan to keep the mess.
I don't think you prepared enough space for it.

I have a bunch of space. That means I get to start the next two projects before I have to start cleaning up the aftermath of my current project(s).

I recommend some low-profile under cabinet lighting. Skip the LED and Fluorescent if you can. My LED shop light makes an annoying high frequency hum and my Fluorescent before that caused lots of interference on everything - it was old and noisy. Besides, you need the heat of incandescent in Alaska.

    Looks nice. Stay warm

I am indeed going to put some incandescant track lighting under the cupboards. I found some cute little fellers just made for the job.

I get more done when I'm standing up. I've just started using stand-up desks for my writing...and it's quite amazing the difference. There's a lot of recent documentation on the stand-up desk phenomenon. Stay tuned!
