Need to raise 5 v to 40v using dc chopper circuit needed

    iam working on project and ineed to raise the volt from 5 v to 40v using 1st quadrant dc chopper
    circuit needed

    How much current @ 40V? Use a 120V to 12.6 filament transformer, 2 transistors or FETS and a few Rs & Cs.

    You're going to have a tough time trying to get 40v out of a 1st quadrant DC chopper; they are basically a "buck" type converter. You need a "boost" type or a flyback type converter.

    There are other types as well, but you haven't mentioned what your current requirements are.
